1 Sustains Minor Injuries in Richmond Crash on Interstate 80 near El Portal Drive Off-Ramp
Richmond, California (August 8, 2021) – One person was hurt in a car collision that happened Sunday morning on Interstate 80 in Richmond, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP said two vehicles collided at around 5:50 a.m. on westbound Interstate 80, just east of El Portal Drive off-ramp.
At the time of the report, authorities had not yet determined what caused the collision that left one person with minor injuries. The patient went to the hospital using their own means.
CHP is collecting more information to establish the cause of the crash.
