Keith Alan ID'd as Man Killed in Car Crash on Auto Center Drive at Western Avenue in Buena Park
Buena Park, California (August 20, 2021) – Authorities have identified the man who died in a hit-and-run accident last week on Saturday in Buena Park as Keith Alan, 58.
The deadly crash took place on Auto Center Drive at Western Avenue on August 14.
Police said Nathaniel Machado, 24, of Anaheim, was driving an SUV on Auto Center Drive at Western Avenue when he allegedly ran a red and struck a Jaguar Sedan occupied by Alan and his wife Tami Alan.
Deadly Crash in Buena Park
Alan was pronounced dead at the scene while his wife sustained major injuries and was taken to a hospital.
Machado fled on foot after the crash. On Friday, Machado surrendered in court and is currently in custody on charges including vehicular manslaughter.
