Anna Mejia Killed in Sun Valley Crash on 5 Freeway at Hollywood (170) Freeway
Sun Valley, California (August 21, 2021) – Anna Mejia, 32, has been identified as the homeless woman who was hit and killed by a vehicle in Sun Valley on Friday evening, according to the coroner's office.
The accident took place on the southbound 5 Freeway connector to the southbound Hollywood (170) Freeway just before 7:13 p.m. August 20.
According to authorities, Mejia was standing on the freeway, for unknown reasons, when she was struck by a vehicle.

The report said that Mejia died at the scene of the collision.
The driver of the involved vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
