1 Killed in Chino Car Crash on Highway 60 near Mountain Avenue

Chino, California (August 26, 2021) – One person died in a Thursday morning Chino car crash that happened on Highway 60 involving multiple vehicles.
The wreck occurred at about 7:44 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of the highway near Mountain Avenue.
A Ford F-150, a red Mazda 3, and a work truck collided under unclear circumstances. The vehicles were blocking the HOV and No. 1 lanes.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to help the motorists.
The report said one person was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after the collision.
Caltrans responded and closed all eastbound lanes at the scene. A sweeper also responded to clear debris from the crash and nails that were scattered across traffic lanes.
All lanes were reopened at 10:46 a.m.
