3 Injured, 1 Hospitalized after Orange County Collision on State Route 55 (Costa Mesa Freeway)
Orange County, California (August 27, 2021) – Three people were injured Friday afternoon following a traffic collision involving four vehicles in Tustin, the California State Highway Patrol said.
The multi-car crash took place on State Route 55, also known as Costa Mesa Freeway.
According to the CHP, four vehicles collided for unknown reasons on the southbound side of State Route 55.

A total of three people were injured as a result of the crash. One of them was transported to Orange County Global Medical Hospital with unspecified injuries.
The names of the victims and their conditions were not immediately available.
All middle lanes on the Costa Mesa Freeway were closed during the investigation.
