San Jose Accident on Highway 101 near Highway 85 Seriously Injures 1
San Jose, California (August 28, 2021) – One person was hospitalized with serious injuries after being involved in a three-vehicle collision on a highway in San Jose Friday night.
The major injury crash took place on Highway 101, just south of the Highway 85 connector, at approximately 8:35 p.m.
The California Highway Patrol did not immediately establish how the collision occurred on the southbound side of the highway.

One unidentified person sustained major injuries and was taken to the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center for medication.
The crash resulted in the closure of the southbound lanes of Highway 101 near Highway 85 for an unknown time.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
