1 Killed in Early Sunday Morning Tulare Crash on Highway 99 near SK Street
Tulare, California (August 29, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol said one person was killed in a two-vehicle collision that happened early Sunday morning in Tulare.
The wreck occurred at around 2:08 a.m. on southbound Highway 99 near SK Street.
Two cars of unknown make and model collided under unclear circumstances.
Firefighters responded to the scene and blocked the No. 1 lane. Both vehicles were in the center divider.
The CHP report said one person died of injuries sustained in the crash.
It was not clear if any other parties were injured.
Both cars were towed away with crash damage.
CHP is investigating to establish the cause of the collision.
