1 Hospitalized after Colton Accident on 215 Freeway Near Washington Street
Colton, California (August 30, 2021) – A Colton accident involving multiple vehicles Friday morning sent one unidentified person to the hospital, the California Highway Patrol said.
The major injury three-vehicle collision occurred on the 215 Freeway, just north of Washington Street, shortly after 8:00 a.m. on August 27.
It was not immediately established how a white pickup truck, a white Honda Accord, and another vehicle collided on the southbound side of the 215 Freeway.

One person reportedly sustained moderate injuries to their nose following the collision.
The victim was attended to by paramedics before being taken to the the Kaiser Permanente Fontana Medical Center for further medication.
Officials shut down the southbound lanes of the 215 Freeway near Washington as they investigated and cleared the scene.
The accident remains under an active investigation.
