At Least 1 Suffers Major Injuries in Isleton Car Crash on Highway 12 near Mokelumne River
Isleton, California (August 30, 2021) – At least one person suffered major injuries in a car collision that took place Sunday morning in Isleton.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident transpired at around 9:38 a.m. on westbound Highway 12 near Mokelumne River Bridge.
Three vehicles, including a black Toyota, were involved in the wreck.
A passerby called authorities saying an occupant in the Toyota complained of pain to the back, and another driver had a head injury.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and confirmed that major injuries were sustained in the crash. Authorities, however, did not mention the number of parties injured.
The westbound lane of the highway remained closed following the incident.
