1 Hospitalized after Elk Grove Accident on Interstate 5 at Twin Cities Road
Elk Grove, California (August 30, 2021) – One person was hospitalized with major injuries after being involved in a traffic collision early Saturday morning in Elk Grove.
The major injury crash was reported at about 2:35 a.m., August 28, on Interstate 5 near Twin Cities Road.
The California Highway Patrol did not immediately establish how a gray Toyota Camry crashed with a black Hyundai Elantra on the southbound side of the interstate.
Due to the impact, one of the vehicles swerved off the highway before rolling down the embankment.
Major Injury Elk Grove Accident
One person, whose identity was not revealed, suffered major trauma, a broken pelvis, and severe head lacerations following the collision. The victim was attended to by paramedics before being rushed to a local hospital for further evaluation.
