, California (August 30, 2021) – Six people were injured Sunday night in a traffic collision on a freeway in Santa Clarita, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash, involving two vehicles, was reported at around 10:51 p.m. Sunday, August 29, on the Golden State (5) Freeway, just north of the Valley (14) Freeway.

The incident began when an SUV stalled in the no. 3 lane of the northbound freeway. The stalled SUV may have been hit by another vehicle.

The impact caused the SUV to overturn, ejecting one of its occupants.
