Irvine Accident on Santa Ana (5) Freeway at Culver Drive Sends 1 to Hospital
Irvine, California (August 30, 2021) – One person was hospitalized with minor injuries after being involved in a traffic collision on a freeway in Irvine Sunday evening, the California Highway Patrol said.
The two-vehicle crash happened on Interstate 5 (Santa Ana Freeway) at Culver Drive just about 7:15 p.m. on August 29
The accident involved a silver Kia SUV and a red pickup truck that crashed on the northbound side of the interstate.

One person sustained minor injuries in the crash and was taken to a local hospital for medication.
The accident remains under active investigation.
