Person Killed in San Jose Pedestrian Accident on Interstate Highway 680 near Berryessa Road
San Jose, California (August 30, 2021) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Monday night in San Jose, the California Highway Patrol said.
The deadly crash was reported at around 8:40 p.m. on Interstate Highway 680, just south of Berryessa Road.
According to the CHP, a vehicle hit the pedestrian on the southbound side of the highway.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. The name of the victim has not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin.
