38-Year-Old Bakersfield Woman Killed in Visalia Crash on Highway 99
Visalia, California (August 31, 2021) – A woman died following a traffic collision that happened in Visalia, the California Highway Patrol said on Monday.
The collision occurred on Highway 99 north of Avenue 184.
CHP said a 36-year-old Bakersfield woman was driving a vehicle southbound on Highway 99 when she collided with a car driven by Darryl Thompson, 54.

The Bakersfield driver died in the accident.
Thompson sustained minor injuries but was not taken to hospital.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
