At Least 1 Sustains Minor Injuries in Crescent City Crash on Highway 199 at Walker Road
Crescent City, California (August 31, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a minor injury collision that happened Monday morning in Crescent City.
The California Highway Patrol said the incident occurred at around 11:51 a.m. on Highway 199 at Walker Road.
A gray Range Rover collided head-on with a light-gray Volvo 4-door sedan under unclear circumstances.
One of the cars ended up about 15 feet off the roadway after the first impact, and the other was blocking the roadway.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to offer medical help to at least one person who suffered minor injuries.
The highway was momentarily blocked to allow a tow truck to recover the car that went off-road.
CHP is investigating the collision.
