Oak View Accident on North Ventura Avenue Sends Pedestrian to Hospital

Oak View, California (September 16, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a major injury pedestrian accident that occurred on a highway in Oak View Wednesday night.
The CHP responded to the crash site at around 8:40 p.m. on Highway 33 (North Ventura Avenue).
An individual was reportedly struck by a vehicle while walking on the roadway for reasons still under investigation.

The pedestrian, whose name was not revealed, sustained major injuries following the crash. The patient was attended to by paramedics before being taken to an area hospital for further treatment.
Authorities closed down a section of Highway 33 as they investigated and cleared the scene.
