Shi X. Yu ID'd as Driver Killed in Traffic Collision on Guasti Road near Cleveland Road in Ontario
Ontario, California (September 16, 2021) – The San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner has identified the driver who died Monday afternoon following a traffic collision involving a big rig in Ontario as Shi X. Yu, 40, of Monterey Park.
The deadly collision occurred at about 2:45 p.m. Monday, September 13, on Guasti Road near Cleveland Road.
Police said a minivan was traveling westbound on Guasti Road when, for unknown reasons, it crashed into the side of a semi-truck that was pulling onto the road.

The driver of the minivan, Shi X. Yu, died at the site of the collision.
The Ontario Police Department is investigating the crash.
