David Carlisle Injured in Twentynine Palms Accident on Twentynine Palms Highway and Larrea Avenue

Twentynine Palms, California (September 17, 2021) – David Carlisle, 52, of Desert Hot Springs was among two people injured in a wreck in Twentynine Palms on Wednesday morning, according to the Morongo Basin sheriff's department.
The accident occurred on Twentynine Palms Highway and Larrea Avenue just before 9:26 a.m. September 15.
According to authorities, Carlisle was driving a green Toyota eastbound on Twentynine Palms Highway when he failed to stop for a red light and collided with a white Ford Explorer that was making a left turn onto the highway from northbound Larrea Avenue.
The Toyota continued on and collided with the curb, before coming to a stop.
Carlisle and his passenger, Noela Vasquez, of Desert Hot Springs, were both extricated and transported to local hospitals.
Alcohol and drugs were not suspected to be factors in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
