, California (September 18, 2021) – One person was seriously injured early Friday morning in a traffic collision in Turlock, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The major injury crash was reported just before 1:00 a.m. Friday, September 17, on at the Lander Avenue exit.

The CHP said a white Toyota Prius collided with a red Nissan in the southbound lane of the highway.

One patient, whose name was not immediately disclosed, was transported to a hospital with major injuries. The name and condition of the victim were not immediately disclosed.

Southbound Highway 99 was blocked at Lander for over two hours as the investigation and cleanup took place.
