Wendy Palma ID'd as Woman Killed in Playa Del Rey Crash on Vista Del Mar
Playa Del Rey, California (September 19, 2021) – Wendy Galdamez Palma, 33, has been identified as the woman who was hit and killed by a vehicle on Saturday night in Playa Del Rey, authorities said.
The deadly pedestrian accident occurred at about 10:30 p.m., on September 11, in the 8800 block of Vista Del Mar.
According to the police, Wendy and her 3-year-old son were crossing the street when a vehicle driven by Darwin Dantzler, 39, of Los Angeles, struck them.

Sadly, Wendy sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
Her 3-year-old son was injured and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Dantzler fled the scene but was arrested Wednesday and booked on suspicion of felony hit and run.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
