2 Hospitalized after Oakley Accident on Bethel Island Road near Cypress Road
Oakley, California (September 20, 2021) – Two people were hospitalized after two vehicles crashed head-on on a highway in Oakley Sunday night, a local news source reported.
The major injury DUI crash was reported at around 9:11 p.m. in the 4900 block of Bethel Island, just north of East Cypress Road.
The accident involved two vehicles that crashed on the roadway for undetermined reasons.
Both automobiles wound up in a ditch as a result of the collision, and one individual was trapped inside.

The involved motorists suffered moderate injuries following the accident. The unidentified victims were rushed to an area hospital for medication.
The Oakley Police Department affirmed one of the drivers was intoxicated at the time of the collision.
The crash resulted in the closure of Bethel Island Road for around an hour as investigation and clean-up took place.
