, California (September 21, 2021) – A died after being struck by a vehicle Monday night at an intersection in Fontana, according to the Coroner's Office.

The deadly crash happened at around 8:27 p.m. Monday, September 20, in the area of Merrill Avenue and Cherry Avenue.

The pedestrian, only identified as a female victim, was taken to Kaiser Foundation Hospital in Fontana, where she later succumbed to his injuries at 9:15 p.m. Her name was being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
