1 Hospitalized after Watsonville Accident at Green Valley Road and Dick Phelps Road

Watsonville, California (September 22, 2021) – A Watsonville accident involving a black Chevrolet pickup truck and a red Lexus sedan at an intersection in Watsonville Tuesday morning sent one person to the hospital.
The major injury crash took place in the area of Green Valley and Dick Phelps roads at approximately 5:39 a.m.
Although the California Highway Patrol did not immediately establish how the collision occurred at the Watsonville intersection, the Lexus acquired major front-end damage.
Major Injury Watsonville Car Accident
One person, whose identity was not revealed, suffered major injuries following the crash. The patient was attended to by paramedics before being rushed to the Watsonville Community Hospital for further medication.
The collision resulted in the closure of Green Valley at Dick Phelps for about two hours.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
