1 Sustains Minor Injuries in Shingletown Car Crash on 31300 Highway 44

Shingletown, California (September 23, 2021) – One person was injured in a traffic collision that happened Friday morning in Shingletown, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision took place at about 11:26 a.m. on the 31300 block of Highway 44, just in front of Dollar General.
A Dodge pickup truck and a small 2-door Honda sedan were involved in the wreck.
Firefighters responded to the scene to find one person with minor injuries. An ambulance was sent to the scene to help the victim.
Authorities had not yet established the cause and manner of the accident at the time of the report.
The pickup truck was towed away with front-end damage, and the Honda with the left front axle and the right-front wheel broken.
Authorities are investigating the incident.
