Rider Hospitalized with Major Injuries after Petaluma Motorcycle Crash on Ely Road and Old Redwood Highway

Petaluma, California (September 24, 2021) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized with major injuries after a head-on collision that happened Thursday night at an intersection in Petaluma.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck was reported just after 9:00 p.m. on Ely Road N at Old Redwood Highway.
A Harley-Davidson motorcycle collided head-on with a Toyota Camry for unknown reasons.
Firefighters and medical personnel responded to the scene after receiving reports about the accident.

The motorcycle was towed away with a detached front wheel and the Camry with moderate front-end damage.
