Rebecca Andayan Among 2 People Killed in Patterson Crash on West Main Street near Jennings Road

Patterson, California (September 25, 2021) – Rebecca Andayan, 47, of Turlock, has been identified as one of the two people who were killed in a Thursday morning traffic accident in Patterson, according to Stanislaus County Coroner's Office.
The deadly fiery head-on crash transpired at about 4:50 a.m., on September 23, on West Main Street near Jennings Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Nissan sedan, driven by Andayan, was headed westbound on the roadway when, for unknown reasons, it drifted into the oncoming lane.
The sedan reportedly collided head-on with a Ford pickup truck driven by a 69-year-old man from Patterson.
Following the collision, the pickup caught fire, the officials said.

Sadly, Andayan and the Patterson man were pronounced dead at the scene.
It was not clear if drugs or alcohol played a role in the collision.
The crash remains under investigation.
