CHP Officer Hospitalized after Downey Crash on 105 Freeway at Bellflower Boulevard
Downey, California (September 25, 2021) – A California Highway Patrol motorcycle officer was injured in a Saturday evening traffic accident in Downey, authorities said.
The accident occurred at about 8:10 p.m., on Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway at Bellflower Boulevard.
According to the officials, the CHP officer collided with a vehicle eastbound on the freeway.

The officer sustained a broken leg in the accident and was taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Lynwood for treatment.
The involved driver remained at the scene.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
