Oroville Accident near Highway 70 and Ophir Road Injures 1
Oroville, CA (September 25, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a two-vehicle collision that left one person hurt in Oroville Friday night.
The crash took place near Highway 70 and Ophir Road at approximately 9:50 p.m.
1 Hurt in Oroville Car Accident
The accident began when, for undetermined reasons, a black Toyota pickup truck stopped on southbound Highway 70. In the process, a silver Ford F-150 pickup then crashed with the Toyota near the intersection.
One person, whose identity was not revealed, sustained unspecified injuries following the accident.
The unidentified victim was taken to the Enloe Medical Center for medication.
Officials closed down the southbound Highway 70 near Ophir Road as they investigated and cleared the scene.
The accident remains under active investigation.
