One Person Hospitalized after Fallbrook Collision on Interstate 15 near State Route 76

Fallbrook, California (September 26, 2021) – One person was injured after a car collided with a semi-truck Saturday morning in Fallbrook, authorities said.
The collision happened at around 5:57 a.m. Saturday, September 25, on southbound Interstate 15, just south of State Route 76.
A red sedan side-swiped a semi-truck on the southbound side of the interstate, according to the authorities.
Following the collision, both vehicles were pulled over to the interstate's right shoulder.

A young adult male sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Palomar. His name and condition were not immediately available.
It is undetermined if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash, which remains under investigation.
