Rick Musselman ID'd as Person Killed in Rio Linda Collision at Dominion Way and Elverta Road
Sacramento County, California (September 28, 2021) – The Sacramento County Sheriff Coroner's Bureau has identified the person who died Sunday afternoon following a car crash in Rio Linda as Rick Musselman, 47.
The deadly crash happened at around 1:56 p.m. Sunday, September 26, at the intersection of Dominion Way and Elverta Road.
According to the authorities, two vehicles collided at the intersection.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and extricated Musselman and two other people from the wreckage.
Musselman was transported to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The other two people were hospitalized with minor injuries.
Elverta Road was blocked following the crash.
Alcohol was considered a factor in the crash.
The collision remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
