Gilroy Accident on U.S. Route 101 at Highway 152 Injures At Least 1
Gilroy, California (September 29, 2021) – At least one person was transported to the hospital after being involved in a Gilroy two-vehicle accident Sunday morning, September 26.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the crash site shortly before 4:15 a.m. on U.S. Route Highway 101 near the connecting road to Highway 152.
As per the dispatch, a Toyota sedan overturned several times after colliding with a second vehicle on the northbound side of the highway for undetermined reasons.
Due to the impact, one unidentified person was pinned inside the Toyota and had to be rescued by responding firefighters.

The extricated victim was then rushed to an area hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries sustained in the crash.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
