2 Injured, Including Child, in Temescal Valley Crash on Interstate 15 near Indian Truck Trail
Temescal Valley, California (September 29, 2021) – Two people, including one child, were injured in a two-vehicle collision Wednesday morning in Temescal Valley, according to the California Highway Patrol.
At around 9:40 a.m., officers received a report about the crash on the northbound side of Interstate 15 near Indian Truck Trail, approximately halfway between Corona and Lake Elsinore.
CHP said a Chevrolet Silverado pickup collided with a Jeep in the fast lane of the interstate. The Chevy overturned upon the impact.
2 Injured in Interstate 15 Accident in Temescal Valley
Good Samaritans pulled two children and two adults out of the pickup. Firefighters responded to the scene and found one of the children and a man suffering from minor injuries as a result of the crash.
The child was transported to Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar for treatment while the man declined medical aid.
No other injuries were immediately reported.
The collision remains under investigation.
