1 Injured in Corona Car Crash on 91 Freeway near Highway 71
Riverside, California (September 30, 2021) – One person was injured in a traffic collision that occurred in Corona on Thursday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on 91 Freeway near Highway 71 at about 10:49 a.m.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision. However, the manner in which the accident happened was not immediately established.
One person was trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated by the Good Samaritans who responded to the incident.
The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of major injuries.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
A CHP investigation into the accident is ongoing.
