1 Injured in Highway 1 Motorcycle Accident in Big Sur
Big Sur, California (October 1, 2021) – A motorcyclist suffered major injuries after colliding with a vehicle in Big Sur on Thursday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorcycle accident happened on State Route 1 (Cabrillo Highway) near Gamboa Point Beach at about 4:50 p.m. September 30.
A motorcycle is reported to have collided with a white Subaru along the southbound lanes of the highway in unclear circumstances.
The impact of the collision caused the motorcycle to crash into the guardrail.
The area fire department responded to the incident and transported the motorcyclist, who had sustained major injuries, to an area hospital for treatment.
