1 Killed, 1 Hospitalized after Fallbrook Crash at Amigos Way and East Alvarado Street
Fallbrook, California (October 1, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Friday morning suspected DUI crash that killed one person and left one other party injured in Fallbrook.
The deadly head-on collision happened at about 10:00 a.m. at the intersection of Amigos Way and East Alvarado Street.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a sedan collided head-on with a pickup truck at the intersection. The factors that contributed to the accident are yet to be established.

Sadly, one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
One other person was injured and taken to a fire station to be airlifted to a hospital for treatment. The patient was suspected to be intoxicated.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
