1 Injured in Sacramento Car Crash on I-5 Freeway near Elk Grove Boulevard
Sacramento, California (October 2, 2021) – At least one person was injured in a 5 Freeway car crash in South Sacramento on Friday afternoon.
The accident happened along the northbound lanes of the 5 Freeway near Elk Grove Boulevard at about 3:22 p.m. October 1.
Three vehicles were involved in the collision, according to the California Highway Patrol. The circumstances surrounding the collision were yet to be established.
One person was injured in the accident and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
The severity of injuries sustained by the victim was not immediately disclosed.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
