Lucerne Valley, California (October 2, 2021) – Two people were hospitalized after a two-vehicle accident in Lucerne Valley on Saturday afternoon, according to authorities.

The accident was reported shortly after 11:00 a.m. on near Custer Avenue.

A black four-door sedan and a gold-colored Ford pickup were involved in the collision and both sustained major front-end damage.

At least one person needed to be extricated from the wreckage.

Two medical helicopters were requested to airlift two parties to trauma centers. There was no update on the condition of the injured parties.
