Two Drivers Injured in Lemon Grove Collision on Highway 94 at Massachusetts Avenue
Lemon Grove, California (October 2, 2021) – Two drivers were injured in a crash at Highway 94 and Massachusetts Avenue in Lemon Grove early Saturday morning, the authorities said.
The incident was reported at around 12:06 a.m. and involved a blue car and another car.
The blue car was traveling at a high rate of speed when it tried to exit the eastbound Highway 94 at Massachusetts Avenue.
The driver failed to make the turn and the car ended up in the vegetation between the on-ramp and the off-ramp to the eastbound side of Highway 94 from Massachusetts Avenue.
The car continued on and was thrown into the air, colliding with another car that was heading for the highway. The blue car then flipped and came to a rest on its roof.

The man driving the blue car and the female driver of the second car were both taken to hospital in unknown condition.
Authorities said the male driver was suspected to have been driving under the influence.
The crash caused a closure of the on-ramp for nearly one hour.
The investigation is ongoing.
