Rider Injured in Mission Viejo Motorcycle Accident on 5 Freeway at Oso Parkway Off-Ramp

Mission Viejo, California (October 6, 2021) – A motorcyclist was injured in a collision with a car Tuesday morning in Mission Viejo, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at around 8:06 a.m. Tuesday, October 5, on the northbound side of 5 Freeway at the Oso Parkway exit.
CHP said the motorcyclist collided with a beige Honda Civic in the northbound lane of the freeway.
Motorcyclist Injured in 5 Freeway Accident
The motorcyclist sustained minor injuries and was taken to the Mission Hospital Mission Viejo for treatment. The name of the rider and their condition were not immediately disclosed.
Northbound 5 Freeway was blocked at Oso Parkway while the authorities investigated the scene.
No information regarding the Honda driver was immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
