Mondragon Estrada Identified as 1 of 2 People Injured in Paso Robles Crash on Highway 41 near Highway 46

Paso Robles, California (October 6, 2021) – Mondragon Estrada, 27, of Vacaville, has been identified as one of the two parties who were injured in a Tuesday morning semi-truck accident in Paso Robles, authorities said.
The accident occurred at about 6:03 a.m., on October 5, on Highway 41, north of Highway 46.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Peterbilt commercial vehicle, driven by Estrada, was headed southbound on the highway when, for unknown reasons, it crossed over the double yellow lines into the opposing lanes.
Unfortunately, Estrada's vehicle collided with a Honda, driven by 62-year-old Paso Robles resident identified as Mutshnick, northbound on the highway.
As a result of the crash impact, the truck continued in a southeasterly direction, drifted off the east roadway edge, went down a steep dirt embankment, and overturned. The Honda came to rest in the southbound lane, facing in a southwesterly direction.
Mondragon Estrada Injured in Highway 41 Crash
Estrada was injured in the accident and was taken to Sierra Vista Regional Hospital for treatment. Mutshnick was transported to Sierra Vista Regional Hospital.
Both parties were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
