Maria Morales Killed in Bakersfield Accident on Comanche Drive near Sunset Boulevard
Bakersfield, California (October 5, 2021) – The elderly woman who was killed in an auto accident in Bakersfield last Monday morning has been identified as Maria Angela Morales, 72, according to the Kern County Sheriff's Office.
The crash took place at around 7:30 a.m. September 27, on Comanche Drive near Sunset Boulevard.
According to authorities, Morales was attempting to cross the street when she was struck by a vehicle heading south on Comanche Drive.

Morales reportedly died at the scene of the crash.
The involved driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
