1 Injured in Pismo Beach Crash on Highway 101 near 4th Street Off-Ramp
Pismo Beach, California (October 7, 2021) – One person was injured Thursday morning following a traffic collision involving seven vehicles on a highway in Pismo Beach, the California Highway Patrol.
The 7-car pileup crash happened at around 7:25 a.m. on the northbound Highway 101 near the 4th Street exit.
Seven vehicles collided on the highway due to unknown reasons.
Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 101 Injures 1
One person sustained moderate injuries in the crash. The name and condition of the patient were not immediately disclosed.
Authorities requested five tow trucks to remove the wrecked vehicles away from the crash site.
Northbound lanes of Highway 101 were closed following the wreck. As of 10:40 a.m., the lanes were reopened to traffic.
No further details about the crash were immediately provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
