1 Killed in Monterey Park Collision on 60 Freeway at Atlantic Boulevard
Los Angeles, California (October 10, 2021) – One person was killed in a Sunday morning car crash on the 60 Freeway in Monterey Park in Los Angeles.
The deadly collision happened on the Pomona (60) Freeway at Atlantic Boulevard at about 4:50 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two vehicles were involved in the morning collision. The manner in which the accident happened was yet to be established.

As per the report, one person was killed in the crash.
The name of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
All the eastbound lanes of the freeway were closed at Atlantic Boulevard as the officers cleared the scene.
A CHP investigation into the accident is underway.
