Possible Injuries Reported after Anaheim Crash on 91 Freeway near Brookhurst Street
Anaheim, California (October 12, 2021) – Possible injuries were reported Monday afternoon following a traffic collision involving three vehicles in Anaheim, the California Highway Patrol said.
At around 3:36 p.m. Monday, October 11, the CHP officers received a report about the crash on 91 Freeway near Brookhurst Street.
According to CHP, a motorcycle, a gray Honda, and a white pick-up truck collided on the freeway.
First responders arrived at the location and found the motorcycle down in the center median area.

Paramedics were dispatched to the scene to help those who might have sustained injuries as a result of the crash.
The collision snarled traffic on the eastbound side of the freeway.
No further details about the crash were immediately provided.
The accident remains under investigation.

According to data released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, 18 fatal accidents happened in the city in 2019, which claimed the lives of 18 people. Six of these fatalities were pedestrians. In 2017, 34 people were killed, with eleven of those being pedestrians. Many factors contributed to these collisions. They include dangerous acts such as; distracted driving, speeding, drunk driving, reckless driving, bad weather, wrong-way driving, and failure to observe traffic laws. Alcohol played a role in seven of the fatal collisions in 2019.
