Motorcyclist Killed in Pomona Crash at Garey Avenue and Philadelphia Street
Pomona, California (October 12, 2021) – A motorcyclist was killed Tuesday morning in a collision with a car at an intersection in Pomona, according to authorities.
The deadly crash occurred at about 11:07 a.m. at the intersection of Garey Avenue and Philadelphia Street.
Authorities said the motorcyclist collided with a sedan at the Pomona intersection.
Motorcyclist Killed in Pomona Crash
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and found the male rider “gravely injured” as a result of the collision. Sadly, he was declared dead at the scene. His name has not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, the sedan driver stopped at the scene to cooperate with the police.
The crash remains under investigation. Anyone with information or who witnessed the collision is asked to contact the Police Department at 909-802-7741.
