At Least 1 Seriously Injured in Lucerne Car Accident on Highway 20 at Bruner Drive
Lucerne, California (October 13, 2021) – At least one person is recovering from major injuries sustained in a two-vehicle accident that happened Tuesday afternoon in Lucerne, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Police officers and firefighters responded to the crash shortly after the accident occurred at around 2:10 p.m. on Highway 20 at Bruner Drive.
The responders found the two vehicles blocking the eastbound lane of the highway, both with moderate to major front-end damage.

The report said the crash resulted in major injuries. The exact number of injured parties was not mentioned, but at least one person who sustained minor injuries was hospitalized at Sutter Lakeside Hospital.
Both vehicles were towed away from the scene.
