1 Hospitalized after San Diego Accident on State Route 67 near Scripps Poway Parkway
San Diego, California (October 13, 2021) – One person sustained minor injuries after multiple vehicles crashed head-on Wednesday morning in San Diego, the California Highway Patrol said.
On October 13, at around 10:05 a.m., authorities received a crash report involving three vehicles on State Route 67 near Scripps Poway Parkway.
As per the CHP report, a blue sedan, a white GMC Sierra 2500 pickup truck, and a third car crashed on the roadway after one of the vehicles swerved into the path of the other two vehicles.
Minor Injury San Diego Accident
The incident resulted in minor injuries to one person, whose name was not immediately released. Paramedics treated the patient before rushing them to a local hospital for treatment.
The crash caused the north and southbound lanes of SR-67 to be closed for an unknown amount of time.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
