Uli Mason Chavez Killed in 15 Freeway Collision near Wild Wash Road in Barstow
Barstow, California (October 16, 2021) – 28-year-old Uli Mason Chavez, of Hesperia, was killed in a multi-vehicle collision on the 15 Freeway near Helendale in Barstow on Tuesday.
The deadly collision happened on southbound Interstate 15 Freeway near Wild Wash Road at about 2:45 a.m. October 12, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol Barstow Station.
A big rig and two vehicles are reported to have collided on the freeway in unclear circumstances.
Firefighters from San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the crash and pronounced Chavez dead at the scene.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
