46-Year-Old Patterson Woman, 32-Year-Old Delhi Man Killed in Stanislaus County Crash on West Grayson and Muncy Roads
Stanislaus County, California (October 16, 2021) – A head-on collision has claimed the lives of two people and left another person with major injuries Friday night in Stanislaus County.
The deadly crash occurred at about 7:00 p.m., on October 15, on West Grayson and Muncy Roads, the California Highway Patrol reported.
According to the CHP, a 2010 Dodge Caliber was heading eastbound on Grayson Road when, for undetermined reasons, the vehicle drifted to the left and entered westbound lane, where it collided head-on with an oncoming 1999 Dodge Durango.

The driver of the Caliber, only identified as a 32-year-old Delhi man, was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the Durango, a 46-year-old Patterson woman, was transported to Memorial Medical Center, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
The 26-year-old Modesto man driving the Durango was transported to Doctors Medical Center with major injuries.
The names of the deceased victims have not been released pending notification of their respective families.
It's undetermined whether drugs and/or alcohol were a factor in the crash.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
