1 Injured in Colfax Crash on Interstate 80 near Heather Glen
Colfax, California (October 19, 2021) – One person was hospitalized after a traffic collision between a sedan and a semi-truck in Colfax Monday evening, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The crash happened at around 5:09 p.m. Monday, October 18, on Interstate 80, just east of the Heather Glen.
According to CHP, the sedan collided with the semi-truck in the westbound lane of Interstate 80.
The impact caused the sedan to overturn.

One patient was transported to a local hospital with minor to moderate injuries. The identity and current condition of the victim were not available.
The crash prompted the authorities to close westbound lanes of Interstate 80 near Heather Glen.
No other details regarding the crash were immediately given.
An investigation into the collision is underway.
